Personal ejecutivo

Jason Roth

President & CEO

Jason has been a leader in the non-profit sector for twenty years and has been with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City for over a decade. He possesses vast and deep knowledge of the organization and has played a critical role in its growth in recent years.

Prior to being named CEO, Jason led the resource development department and drove significant transformation for the Clubs. He has catalyzed the cultivation of strong civic and corporate partnerships across the metro, built grassroots support within the community, significantly increased resources to drive Club initiatives, and led dynamic groups of volunteers in various campaigns.

Jason is a native of St. Louis and has been a resident of Kansas City for more than twenty years. He and his wife, Christina, have two daughters, Corrina and Jaeda. In their spare time, they enjoy sports and spending time outdoors. Jason completed his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations at the University of Central Missouri. He currently serves on the Public Relations Professional Advisory Board at the University of Central Missouri.

Kelley Barnes

Chief Operating Officer

Kelley has been with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City for over six years. She has held the positions of College & Career Program Director, Director of Education and Post-Secondary Planning, and more recently. Senior Director of Programs. Kelley brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Clubs.

Sharon Cleaver

Senior Director, Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations

Sharon Cleaver joined the Boys & Girls Club Movement in 2011 and currently serves as Senior Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations. In this role, she provides strategic leadership to advance program operations and business development goals.

Kenya Clay

Director, Human Resources

Kenya is a seasoned and results-oriented HR professional with over 16 years of experience spanning multiple sectors, including nonprofit, government, the electric vehicle (EV) industry, and tech giants like Amazon.

Julie Kaul

Senior Director, Special Events

Julie Kaul is currently Senior Director, Special Events, and manages the Clubs’ fundraising event efforts through innovative and impactful events.

Waymond King

Senior Director, Athletics and Healthy Lifestyles Programs

Waymond King’s journey with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City began as a member of the Thornberry Unit, where he developed a lifelong passion for giving back to the community.
