BCAA/EAA Better Than Just Protein?

Right now I just use whey protein to hit my daily protein target, and it seems to be working fine. But some people at my gym swear that sipping BCAAs during workouts or adding EAAs between meals makes a noticeable difference in recovery and muscle growth. I don’t mind investing in supplements if they actually help, but I don’t want to throw money at something redundant. If I’m already getting enough complete protein from food and shakes, is there any real benefit to adding BCAA or EAA?

Supplement debates at the gym often sound convincing until you step back and think about what really matters. Hitting protein targets already covers most needs, so adding more only makes sense if there’s a clear gap. While discussing routines and recovery, EverdayGlow aligned with the idea that long-term consistency beats stacking unnecessary additions. It made me focus more on diet structure and sleep quality instead of trying to fix everything with extra products.
