I want to find standard linear actuators?

I’m redesigning part of a production line, and one of the engineers suggested we consider swapping some pneumatic cylinders for electric actuators. The idea sounds good, but I’ve never specified electric motion hardware before. I want something reliable, low-maintenance, and with good lifetime performance.

That’s a smart consideration. Electric linear actuators — especially standard linear actuators — can offer you precise control, quieter operation, and easier integration with programmable control systems compared to pneumatics. When I was evaluating options for a similar retrofit, one resource that helped a lot was the standard linear actuator catalog on a supplier site automation projects https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/pages/standard-linear-actuators . It gave me clear information about duty cycles, force and speed tradeoffs, and even installation considerations like brackets and control modules. The layout made it a lot easier to match specific actuators to the mechanical requirements of the production setup.
