Summer Employment Job Fair!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas CitySummer Employment Job FairMay 6, 2010 - 6:00-8:00 p.m.

HAVE FUN...TEACH AT THE CLUBS!

In gearing up for summer, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City will be offering its "Atomic Blast Math & Science Summer Enrichment Program" again this year at our Thornberry Unit in KC, MO and our two Independence Club sites. We are seeking qualified teachers and Group Leaders (youth development professionals) to facilitate academic-based summer programming.

If you know of any teachers interested in summer employment who are certified to teach in Kansas City or Independence, Missouri, as well as individuals who possess a minimum of one year experience working with youth in a similar environment, please invite them to attend our upcoming Summer Employment Job Fair on Thursday, May 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the Thornberry Unit, located at 3831 E. 43rd Street in Kansas City, MO.

Interviews will be conducted on-site and the selected individuals must be willing to work one or both summer sessions (June 7-July 9 and July 12-August 6) or work on-call as a substitute teacher.

For more information about the Job Fair and these employment opportunities, please contact Barbra Upton-Garvin, VP, Human Resources, at (816) 361-3600 x230.
