The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City is an independent, locally governed and managed affiliate of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. BGCA has been a leader in youth development since 1906, and has been name the #1 youth organization in The Council on Philanthropy "Philanthropy 400" report for fourteen consecutive years! The Clubs are currently serving 4.8 million boys and girls each year, at 4,300 locations.

Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids - Meaningful time with caring adults helps children develop a positive self-image and a sense of belonging, usefulness and purpose. Make a kid's day by celebrating Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids on the third Saturday of September each year.
